Greetings to everyone here in my Comp 101 class! My name is David Moore, this is my second time in college. I took about a 3 year break and joined the Army. In the Army I was a 19D, Cavalry Scout. I spent 12 months in Afghanistan, and was otherwise stationed at Fort Campbell. Upon return from deployment I underwent 2 foot surgeries, and traumatic brain injury therapy due to injuries during the deployment. Luckily I have recovered very well from bad situations, and am back in school and loving life.
My hobbies today are very diverse and widely spread. From camping, floating, hiking and fishing, to bar hopping, live music, parties, and just hanging out with friends, I'm a very diverse guy. I love to hang out on the beach or the lake, I enjoy living in the country, but can't wait to visit New York this summer, and fit in well there. Family is important to me, and since getting out of the Army I have been enjoying as much time with nephew as I can.
I'm currently enrolled for my transfer associates, to get my bachelors in business, and for my Paramedic license. Life is a journey, I enjoy living it the fullest. I have seen how short life can be, and if we waste our lives on the trivial, then we will live in regret.
